Little Talbot Island State Park/ Jacksonville Photographer

This is Little Talbot Island State Park. We went here just a few days after Hurricane Matthew. I just posted what Jacksonville Beach looked like after the Hurricane right here. I got a comment that the sand dunes were still present in some places just smaller and more narrow. Yes, in some places the sand dunes are still present but smaller. Little Talbot Island is an example of the sand dunes still there. It was slightly chilly this evening (70) and windy. I thought it was funny that my daughter said how cold it was but the opportunity to take a shower at the beach somehow outweighed the cold.

We found some Welk shells and lots of tree branches. The sky was incredible that night. I wish every sunset was like this but I guess it makes these ones even more special.
